It was her first start since July 21 and first since a private trainer change to the leading trainer here (Ramon Preciado). She's nine-for-28 locally and is two-for-four at this distance. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1 (Hallie Brooks) (7-2) - Mare rallied to finish 2nd to 'Dani' Sept. 13th. It was her second back off a long layoff, and this hard hitter has quite a bit of back class. Stretch threat in this spot.
3rd pick: #2 (Bridget Moloney) (6-1) - Filly won her local debut Aug. 9th racing for a $12.5K tag. She followed that up with an even effort for a $10K tag Sept. 14th. Claimed that afternoon by Ron Dandy, he bumps her up in class for this outing.
4th pick: #4 (So Blessed) (5-1) - She was a 'neck' back of 'Hallie' last out and 4 1/2 behind 'Dani.' It was her first off a seven-week break and only her second since last November. Needs her very best for anything more than a small slice of this.
