Top pick: #4 (SIDSINFORTHREE) (5-2) - Strong finisher hasn't raced since Aug. 2 when she rallied to win an entry-level allowance at Penn National. Filly loves it here (15-6-2-1), is working nicely, and should get a fast and/or contested pace to close into. Takes this if ready off the two month break.
nd pick: #9 (Lender's Way) (9-2) - Stalker stretches out in distance after running second here at this level going 5-furlongs on Sept. 8. It was his first off a Don White claim, a subsequent two month freshening, and mare has run well at this distance in the past.
rd pick: #3 (Wildcat Sierra) (5-1) - Veteran mare is dropping in price, moving from turf to dirt, and cutting back in distance. Capable on the main track, and the faster the pace, the better her prospects.
th pick: #7 (Stand n Ovation) (12-1) - Her form has taken a big drop since she won here at this trip in late May. Good barn (Rick Vega) drops her down, and this mare has a fine record at this trip (4-2-1-0). Can factor with her best.
th pick: #8 (Worthington Court) (6-1) - Speedy 3yo ships from Monmouth off a troubled trip there on Sept. 21. Claimed that afternoon by Randi Persaud for $6000. He moves her up a bit and shortens her up in distance. A front end factor with her best.
