Speed/stalker has done so twice in a row at this level, the latest coming here at this distance Nov. 10th. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #7 (Bowman's Beast) (3-1) - One of two entered by trainer Patty Farro, and the pair race uncoupled. Stalker moves up in class after defeating weaker here Nov. 1st. He loves it at Philly Park (21-6-1-4) and draws a nice outside post for this trip.
3rd pick: #6 (U.S.Citizen) (7-2) - So. California invader has yet to win on the dirt, but has only started once on the main track. He's won facing tougher on both the grass and 'poly' in the past and is racing first off a Dave Jacobson claim (25%).
4th pick: #5 (Proper Freud) (5-1) - Since coming off a 6 1/2 month layoff May 12 and joining the barn of Mark Gory, this stretch runner has gone 9-4-2-0. He's moving way up in class, but does so in career best form.
