Top pick: #5 (RISE AGAINST) (4-1) - Nicely bred colt comes here from Charles Town off a very sharp maiden win there on May 25th. Son of "Discreet Cat" was making his first start in 11 months and was bet heavily at the windows. Nicely spotted and the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #7 (Ain't No Bull) (9-2) - Gelding enters in excellent form and has gone 3-1-1-1 since coming off a 2 1/2 month layoff on March 12th. Speed/stalker draws outside of "Rise Against" and his rider will have to avoid an early duel with that rival.
3rd pick: #1 (Scout's Honor) (5-2) - Has the rail and that's a nice spot in these 5-furlong sprints. Trainer Steve Klesaris is racing him back into shape following a nine month layoff and he moves him from turf to dirt for this assignment.
4th pick: #2 (Sokittumi Samurai) (9-2) - Belmont shipper fits on several angles and enters in fine form. He has stalking ability, the level is fine, and he draws a nice post to save ground from. Stretch threat.
