Top pick: #3 (CAMP FLOYD) (6-1) - Price play was bred by the world class "Darley" stable but was sold privately last fall when the large operation held a horses of racing age sale. Gelding by "Street Cry" tackles winners after an easy maiden win here on May 3rd. By far a career best, he's stringing starts together and should get a fast and/or contested pace to close into.
nd pick: #9 (That's Epic) (5-2) - Lightly-raced gelding makes his Philly Park debut after going 5-1-1-1 outside of town. He has plenty of gate speed, is in a high-percentage barn (Kieron Magee), and is dropping to a new low. Strong win threat.
rd pick: #7 (Bottleofredorwhite) (9-2) - Another with sharp early speed, he was a gate-to-wire maiden winner here going 4.5-furlongs on May 3rd. It was his first off a "Lupe" Guerrero claim and a subsequent 7 week freshening and this gelding began his career in the barn of Todd Pletcher.
th pick: #1 (Atlantic Surfer) (12-1) - Longshot has the rail and has been competitive in four straight local starts at this level. Speed/stalker has the rail and can factor with his best.
th pick: #8 (Strongbaksteeltoes) (5-1) - Very lightly-raced, he takes a big drop in class after tiring while racing wide here on May 19th when facing tougher. It was his first since late January and owner/trainer Steve Klesaris brings him back in three weeks for this outing.
