Top pick: #4 (NEIDERMEYER) (5-2) - This race has been switched from the turf to the main track. Veteran drops back dow after tiring last out on the Monmouth grass. He had won two in a row here on the dirt facing weaker and stalker is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #3 (Ring It Up) (5-1) - Speedy sort is capable on the main track and will be dropping in class and stretching out in distance. He has a fine record on wet tracks and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #9 (Ticfaw) (6-1) - His lack of any early speed is a concern. He's also moving way up in class in his first off a claim. The barn change was a positive one and this lond-winded type would love a fast/and or contested pace to develop.
4th pick: #7 (Hisnameisjon) (10-1) - Much improved since coming off a pair of layoffs in late March. He's gone 3-1-1-1 since then, all in sprints. Can factor at a big price if he can handle this longer trip.
