Top pick: #5 (BIALYSTOK) (2-1) - Lightly raced, well-bred, and still improving, gelding was a very impressive maiden winner here on July 6th. Race was his first in 11 months, first on real dirt, and first for trainer Ed Coletti Jr. Nicely spotted to take another.
2nd pick: #7 (Moby Win) (5-1) - Win candidate, runs third off a seven week freshening, goes turf to dirt, and shortens up in distance. Draws well and is a strong factor at a square price.
3rd pick: #3 (Quality Harbor) (6-1) - Grey colt drops in half and stretches out in distance for trainer Kate DeMasi. He's run well on the dirt in the past and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #6 (Secret Shifters) (7-2) - New York shipper has a bit of speed but his figures are declining at this point. Can grab a small slice, but needs to do much better than for anything more than that.
