Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (TIMNA) (4-1) - Filly rallied to finish a close up second when racing here at this level on a muddy surface June 28. It was her second back from a short freshening and she was away slowly that afternoon. In a winning barn (John Servis) and daughter of 'Pioneer of the Nile' gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #3 (Sandy's Song) (7-2) - She weakened last out after chasing a solid pace in the same last race as 'Timna'. Filly was five lengths behind that rival, but it was a good effort in the mud from a tough outside post. Speedster is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #9 (Sweetness 'n Sugar) (8-1) - Recent maiden winner has a stalking style and draws a fine outside pst for this 6.5-furlong trip. A bit low in the figure department, but 3-year-old is clearly improving and has room for upside.
4th pick: #1 (Bermuda Longtail) (10-1) - Speedy filly tired badly in the same last race as both 'Timna' and 'Sandy's Song.' She was very hard to settle down and may have not liked the muddy going. Has the rail and she'll take them as far as she can.
