Top pick: #3 (IT'S SO EASY) (2-1) - Speedy and lightly raced, she's finished second in two of three turf sprints at Penn National and raced evenly at Delaware in the other. Capable of running a :45 half-mile, and that should lead to a gate-to-wire win.
2nd pick: #6 (Shopper) (8-1) - Grey filly hasn't seen action since last Nov. when she raced evenly following a poor start in a dirt sprint at Penn National. Bred for the grass, and jockey Wolfsont comes in for the ride. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Ristretta) (5-1) - Daughter of "War Front" has cost $220K in May of 2013 and has been brought along slowly by trainer Scott Hammond. She last ran on July 19 at Penn National, and she went evenly that evening while checking in five lengths back of "It's So Easy." Working nicely for this, and looks set for a big effort.
4th pick: #5 (Que Regalo) (3-1) - She improved in her second start and will be racing on the grass for the first time. Bred for the surface, and filly is in a winning outfit (Marc Zulueta). Stretch threat.
