Top pick: #3 (SAFE) - Filly was claimed in early July by Pete Walder for $7500 and was sent in for almost a two month break after that 4th place finish on July 4. She's been sharp in both of her return starts winning both at Delaware with relative ease. Her win there on Sept. 29 was the best of her career and she's been given six weeks off since then. Nicely spotted today and the only questions is whether she'll handle this surface, as she runs on it for the first time.
2nd pick: #5 (Regina's Wish) - Sophomore finished second last out at this level going 7 furlongs and trainer Phil Aristone will send her around two turns again today. Latest win came two back at this tag and distance and this filly has excellent early speed in a race without much on paper. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Mysterious Marissa) - Takes a big drop in class and she's been competitive the last two times she raced for a tag. Draws the rail, has some good early speed, and must be left in the exotics mix.
