3rd pick: #5 (Ice Wagon) (3-1) - Gelding tracked, made a strong bid to reach the front, then weakened to finish fourth racing here for a $7,500 claiming price April 28th. Claimed that afternoon by Mike Vera, new trainer is having a strong year here 19-5-3-2 and has won with two of three fresh off the claim.
4th pick: #4 (Jet Alley) (8-1) - Stretch out sprinter is racing third back off a 10-week break. He's dropping to a new low and is trying a two-turn distance for the first time. Interesting longshot.
