Top pick: #4 (JE SUIS ENCHANTEE) (4-1) - Filly ships in from Penn National where she was an impressive gate-to-wire maiden winner there facing state-bred special weights on March 6th. By far a career best and she has room for upside. The top pick in a contentious allowance.
2nd pick: #7 (La Mala) (7-2) - She ships back from Laurel where she rated, bid, and tired to finish third of seven, beaten 9 1/2 lengths facing "open" mid-level starter-allowance foes on March 1st. Filly was a sharp maiden winner at Penn National in her previous start and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (War Bells) (6-1) - Price play by "War Pass" broke his maiden here at this trip two weeks ago and well-bred filly did so from off the pace. She should receive a fast and/or contested pace to close into and will be finishing fast.
4th pick: #2 (Billygets Arrested) (3-1) - "Billy" is another coming off a maiden win which she did so here on a "muddy" surface on Feb. 22. She's worked nicely since and has improved in each start to date.
