2nd pick: #9 (Gal Royale) (5-2) - The probable favorite, she ships from Belmont and is dropping in class and shortening up in distance. Stalker has finished close up in all three starts on the grass in New York since coming of a 7.5 month layoff May 30. A strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Billysfishstory) (8-1) - Filly tired at this tag when debuting in a dirt sprint at Delaware Park May 23. She chased a quick pace in what was a useful first appearance. Veteran Mike Gorham switches her the grass and adds both lasix and blinkers. Has a shot at long odds.
4th pick: #8 (Kiss Me Kenzie) (12-1) - Grey filly ships back from Penn National where she finished an even third at this tag sprinting on the dirt June 13. State bred had raced since Sept. 23 and trainer Kate DeMasi brings her back quickly and moves her to the turf. Price play.
