Top pick: #6 (DOMINATE) (8-1) - Well-bred colt has been on the sidelines since March 10 when he raced evenly at Gulfstream running for a $35K tag. Runs off a private trainer change to "Lupe" Preciado (25% winning angle), and he's done rather well with several others from this quality operation (West Point Thoroughbreds).
nd pick: #4 (Midnight Tryst) (5-2) - Lightly raced and improving, he's finished second in two straight here on the dirt, the lates on May 3 in his first off a "Lupe" Preciado claim. In the same barn as "Dominate" and it give Preciado a strong hand.
rd pick: #2 (Crime Time) (8-1) - He ships back from Monmouth where he ran a career best when finishing a close up third at this level May 18. Clearly improved since switching to the grass and must be left in the mix.
th pick: #3 (Mixed Blessing) (7-2) - Lightly raced. He ran third here at this tag On May 4 in his first in seven months, then tired badly in a switched contest at Penn National May 23. Factors if this stays on the infield.
th pick: #11 (Hotcha Do It) (6-1) - He's taken money in both starts on the dirt facing tougher, but has broken slowly in each. Freshened up since late Feb., trainer John Servis drops him into a claimer and switches this son of "Smarty Jones" to the grass for his comebacker.
