Top pick: #7 (FREE WILL) (5-2) - Lightly-raced 5-year-old hasn't run since last Nov. He finished second in three of six starts last year and has good early speed to utilize. A recent fast half-mile breeze from the gate suggest he's ready.
2nd pick: #1 (O Do It for Fun) (2-1) - The morning line favorite, he's another coming off a long layoff (Oct 25). Stalker has the rail, is working nicely, and has run well here in the past.
3rd pick: #5 (Alway's Sunshine) (6-1) - One of two making their debuts, colt has a fine work tab on view. Several of his swift a.m. drills are from the gate and he catches a suspect field for the level. Very dangerous, especially if the top two picks aren't ready off of layoffs.
4th pick: #2 (Coach Bennett) (15-1) - Coly has raced evenly after poor starts in both appearances. Son of 'Afleet Alex' had a very sharp half-mile breeze here July 7. Can factor at a big price if away alertly.
