2nd pick: #1a (Peteizum) (6-1) - Speedy sort pressed a quick pace and held to finish 2nd here facing weaker June 11. It was his first off a Mark Zulueta claim and a subsequent 4.5-month layoff. He's won on wet tracks in the past and is a win candidate here.
3rd pick: #4 (Duval) (5-2) - Very fast from the gate, he 'stumbled' and lost his rider here May 28, and did so as a heavy favorite. Gelding was razor sharp in his previous starts going 3-2-1-0. Very dangerous with a "clean' break.
