2nd pick: #7 (Percolator) (5-1) - Once promising grey gelding has been competitive in two of three during the second half of this year. Speed/stalker fits well and checked in second here at this level and distance Oct. 31. Dangerous today.
3rd pick: #8 (Tipit) (4-1) - Another coming from Aqueduct, he was never involved there going a mile facing tougher Nov. 27. However, it was his first since early April and he probably needed the race. Trainer Linda Rice (31% second off of long layoffs) drops him in class and shortens him up (24%).
4th pick: #9 (Flight Crew) (12-1) - Longshot is lightly-raced and has early speed. Well bred colt gives away a lot of experience and believe a minor award is his ceiling.
