Daughter of 'Bellamy Road" rallied to finish 2nd that day at this level and is working sharply for her return. $75K 2yo purchase draws a nice outside post and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Little Sandy) (4-1) - She's one of five debuting fillies and is well-bred and from a top barn (Tony Dutrow). Working fast at Fair Hill and his local "go to" rider (Frank Pennington) is aboard.
3rd pick: #5 (Shoplift) (6-1) - Another of the "first time starters", she's working very fast locally and trainer Phil Aristone is capable of having one ready. Hom-bred by "Exclusive Quality" must be left in the win mix.
4th pick: #1 (Kiss the Daddy) (12-1) - Longshot races first off an Ed Auwarter claim (21%) and she finished a pace-setting 2nd here racing for $25K the day she was claimed. New barn moves her up in class and she'll be sent hard from her inside draw.
5th pick: #9 (Safari Girl) (5-1) - Improving sort has shown good early speed in her last pair and moves back up in class for this attempt. There's not alot of visible pace signed on and she should be involved most of the way. The trainer ("Lupe" Preciado) & rider (Carmouche) combo is a vey strong one, winning at a 42% rate when teamed up.
