Top pick: #1 (RACHY NICOLE) (5-2) - Speedy filly moves from the outside (post 11) to the rail after chasing the pace while widest and checking-in fifth of 11, beaten 2 1/2 lengths racing here at this level eight days ago. She runs third off a two month break, is in a winning barn ("Lupe" Guerrero), and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #5 (Red Hot Ten) (6-1) - Home-bred has been racing evenly of late facing tougher on the turf. Trainer Don White drops her to a new low, switches her from grass to dirt, and shortens her up in distance.
3rd pick: #8 (Fasterlizfaster) (12-1) - Longshot comes off a career best when she finished a close up fourth here at this tag & trip on Sept. 22nd. She could grab a small slice at a big price with a repeat of that effort.
4th pick: #4 (Lady Paolla) (8-1) - She's shown nothing in a pair of starts facing tougher, and runs today with some changes. Trainer Niall Saville drops her down in price, adds blinkers, switches her from turf to dirt, and cuts her back in distance. It's nice to see Carmouche stay put, and filly should offer whatever she has in this spot.
