Top pick: #4 (SASUENO) - Gelding broke his maiden last out at Monmouth racing first off a Steve Asmussen claim and also in his second start back from a 6 1/2 month layoff. Nicely spotted in this starter-allowance in his first facing winners and he's the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #5 (Cantona) - He's been sharp in two of three local starts since coming from California and was beaten a 1/2 length last out racing for $25K. One-run type is a strong stretch factor in this spot.
3rd pick: #6 (Our Rocket Mon) - Recent maide winner did so at Penn National going a mile facing special weights on Oct. 18. That was his best to date and he cuts back in distance for his first facing winners.
