Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (ROOSEVELT LANE) (7-2) - Gulfstream shipper has tired in both turf sprints facing tougher. Colt is taking a big drop in class and trainer Ed Coletti Jr. has him on the dirt for the first time. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #7 (Baby Ue) (5-1) - Debuting colt has been working steadily here since mid-March and had a bullet half-mile gate breeze here (the best of 54) the morning of April 30. A major threat if he can repeat that drill this afternoon.
3rd pick: #8 (Animated) (5-2) - Grey gelding is racing first off a Scott Lake claim. Three-year-old has finished second in two-straight here at this tag and is clearly improving. Must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #6 (Search for Jazz) (8-1) - Even-paced type fits with his best and is making back-to-back starts for the first time since late in 2015. May get a share, but needs to do better for anything more than that.
