Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (O K LEFTY) (3-1) - Old timer set a quick pace and held down the place spot racing here at this tag and trip March 7. Effort was complimented when the 3rd place finisher, who he defeated by four lengths, came out of that start with a win next out.
2nd pick: #5 (Motin) (8-1) - Longshot chased while wide on a sloppy surface before weakening to finish 4th here March 15. He had an outside post, and that was not the place to be that day on the 'off' going. It was also his first race since Dec. 6th. Win candidate at a big price.
3rd pick: #2 (Lulu Rocks) (4-1) - He's the 'class' of the field and is taking a big drop this afternoon. Speed/stalker hasn't been the same horse since coming off a 5.5-month layoff in early December. He's beaten much tougher in the past, and home bred is very dangerous as he races at the local bottom ($5,000) for the first time.
4th pick: #3 (Discreet Duke) (5-1) - Unraced since Dec. 22nd, all of his success has come going longer. However, his last two local drills have been very sharp, and he may grab a share if ready.
