Top pick: #4 (NO ITS NOT) (5-1) - Price play ships up from Florida where he raced very poorly last out at this level. He has a solid overall record on the dirt (10-0-4-3), and has some sharp works off a private trainer change to Scott Lake.
2nd pick: #6 (Free Will) (5-2) - Lightly raced and well-bred, he finished second here at this level on March 24 in a big improvement over his debut. Draws nicely, and trainer Lou Linder, Jr. adds blinkers.
3rd pick: #5 (Swig It) (9-5) - Grey gelding has some early speed, and last out tired after setting a pressured pace to finish six lengths back of "Free Will." It was his first start in 10 months, and this $400K gelding by "Tapit" must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #1 (Oklahoma Crude) (7-2) - Colt ran evenly in his debut and split "Free Will" & "Swig It" in the process. In a good barn (Bernie Houghton), colt cost $100K, and has worked on the fast side since that encouraging debut.
