Top pick: #1 (EL GUERO GUANTERO) (3-1) - Grey colt finished a pace-chasing second here when debuting on Sept. 14 at this level going 5-furlongs. Excellent effort and the top barn of Ramon Preciado brings him back quickly and adds blinkers.
2nd pick: #4 (Waitin On One) (5-1) - One of two entered by trainer John Servis and the pair race uncoupled. Grey colt set a quick and pressured pace before tiring to run second when debuting here on Sept. 3. He's worked well since for a 22% second out barn and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Nasa) (4-1) - The second of the Servis pair, he also ran second in his debut here and Lasix is added for this attempt. Home bred by "Smarty Jones" must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #7 (Mine the Store) (8-1) - One of three debuting 2-year-olds, colt is working fast for his first start and $100K purchase is a threat if ready to fire out of the box.
