Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #3 (RYDELL) (4-1) - Gelding was an impressive maiden winner here at this distance Oct. 11th. It earned him a career best figure, and this Pa bred has improved noticeably since blinkers were added three starts back.
2nd pick: #4 (Trieste) (8-5) - The morning line and probable favorite, he's taking a big drop in class. Lightly raced 4yo son of 'Tiznow' is getting blinkers on and is making back-to-back starts for the first time since the summer of 2015. I could have easily made him the top selection.
3rd pick: #1 (Valdina Crossing) (5-1) - Speedy and lightly raced, he's dropping in class, and moves from a tough outside post to the rail. He finished a good 4th here for twice this tag Oct. 9th and is a threat at a square price.
4th pick: #8 (Moegan Avenue) (6-1) - 3yo by 'Uncle Mo' moves up to face winners after breaking his maiden here at this distance in his local debut Oct. 10th. It was his first since July 22 and first for trainer Scott Lake. Gelding needs to avoid a wide trip for anything more than a minor award.
