Top pick: #2 (TO DUBAI) - Gelding has been freshened-up by trainer Tony Dutrow since he ran poorly at the Fair Grounds March 17th. He was claimed by his present connections for $50K and is offered up today for $35,000. 3-year-old had a huge bullet half-mile drill (best of 59) April 21st and looks ready to roll of the break.
2nd pick: #8 (Bird Tale) - Home-bred from the Mary Lou Whitney stable is improving and last out finished second at Aqueduct going a "flat" mile for a $45K price tag. Coly by "Birdstone" set a pressured pace that day and held gamely late.
3rd pick: #6 (Notable Player) - He exits the same March 17th race at the fair Grounds as "Dubai" and rallied past that gelding during the stretch run. His lack of speed is aparent, but he's made up good late ground in his last three sprints.
