Top pick: #2 (HARBOR KID) - Recent maiden winner impressed when winning by 4 lengths going 7 furlongs on Jan. 24 in his first race since missing by a nose in his debut Dec. 7. Grey son of "Rockport Harbor" may have some real talent and this is a good test for him.
2nd pick: #6 (Tap Star) - Freshened-up since racing evenly last out in a $65K stakes at Aqueduct going two-turns on New Year's Day, he's working fast for this as trainer John Servis cuts him back in distance. Contends today.
3rd pick: #3 (Caribbean Beau) - He was an 8 length maiden winner at Penn National on Jan. 29 in from a figure standpoint is the best race any of these has ever run. He'd shown speed in a previous pair on this surface, but was defeated by Tap Star by almost 10 lengths on Dec. 10. Tough call.
