Top pick: #8 (HAZ THE BEAT) (7-2) - Filly is the type that can "run all day," and will be racing third back from a 5 1/2 month layoff. She's hinted at ability in the past, meets a weak field, and Carmouche is aboard for her first Philly Park appearance.
2nd pick: #3 (Enchanted Dreams) (8-1) - Nicely-bred filly ran well two back sprinting on the Atlantic City lawn, then tired here on the dirt a month later. Stretches out and is bred ("War Pass") to enjoy longer distances.
3rd pick: #2 (Smilestone) (6-1) - She has some speed and will be trying the grass for the first time. In the dangerous barn of "Lupe" Guerrero, and she's bred on both sides to love turf racing.
4th pick: #5 (Candy Dance) (3-1) - The probable favorite, mare has the best overall races of these in her past, but hasn't run since May 10 of 2012. Working fine for a good small barn, and she would be no surprise if ready.
