Top pick: #7 (MISSTREATED) (2-1) - The probable favorite, she's finished second in three of her last four appearances and last out just failed against a well bred filly who was winning her second in a row. Stalker has a clear speed to track and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #5 (Trytoloveagain) (8-1) - Price play ships back from Penn National where she ran evenly while encountering some traffic on the far turn in a one-mile grass contest. She drops slightly and can impact at long odds in her switch back to the dirt.
3rd pick: #1 (C J's Cheezit) (6-1) - Speedy filly draws the rail and is facing winners for the first time. in a winning barn (Patty Farro) and 4-year-old catches a field with a lot of "plodding" types. Takes them as far as she can.
4th pick: #3 (Calypsogirl) (3-1) - Home-bred takes a big drop in her first since March 22nd. Lightly-raced 5-year-old has many layoffs in her brief career and they look to be "dumping" her while maybe picking up a purse. Her biggest asset is trainer Cathal Lynch (28 for 82 here -34%)since Jan. 1. Don't just ignore her.
