Top pick: #7 (SAFARI GIRL) (8-5) - The probable favorite, she comes off a close up fourth place finish facing Pa-bred special weights on June 22nd. Trainer "Lupe" Preciado drops her into a claimer for the first time, and this field drew very weak for the price-tag. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1 (Lady Haya) (9-2) - Well-bred filly chased while wide before tiring here at this level on June 18th. Race was her first off a Scott Lake claim, and a subsequent five month layoff. Speedy sort has the rail and she's a bit dangerous.
3rd pick: #6 (Kinda Sexy) (10-1) - Filly rallied to finish a non-threatrning third when debuting here facing $15K "open" maiden claimers on June 4th. She took a bit of money that day, and has a new trainer (Shane Murphy) for this attempt. New barn add lasix, and this 3yo can factor with normal second out improvement.
4th pick: #2 (Video Talent) (3-1) - Filly has faced "open" company in her last pair, and prior to that had finished second in back-to-back starts at Penn National facing fellow Pa-breds. Cuts back in distance and is a stretch threat.
