Top pick: #5 (HARROD'S CREEK) (2-1) - Veteran won several stakes racing on the grass and banked nearly $300K before switching to the jumps. He's the type that can run all day and last out at Monmouth he checked in third of eight, beaten just under two lengths racing over the hurdles at this level. The top pick.

2nd pick: #3 (Sal the Barber) (6-1) - He also had a fine career racing on the grass and banked $275K before going in for a 19 month layoff beginning in early Sept. of 2012. Eight-year-old by "Alphabet Soup" had good position before falling in his return to action on April 5th. In the Sheppard barn and it would be no surprise to see him improved noticeably today.

3rd pick: #1 (Overwhelming) (7-2) - Speedy and well bred he was competitive in his hurdle debut on May 10th in what was his first since being sold privately last fall. Son of "Hard Spun" must be left in the mix.

4th pick: #4 (Tahoe Lake) (6-1) - Veteran won $260K when racing on the grass and finished a distant third in his jump debut on May 18th at Lexington. Useful effort came off almost a half-year's layoff and he should move forward in his second back.
