An 18 time winner and he loves this distance 7-3-2-1.
2nd pick: #7 (Blast Away) (9-2) - He was a winner here at this trip for a $10K claiming price Sept. 10. Five-year-old cleared the 4l condition that afternoon and is moving up in class and facing tougher. Stalker runs first off a Mike Trombetta claim and draws a nice outside post.
3rd pick: #5 (No Contingency) (5-1) - Speedy veteran makes his local debut. Once a much classier runner while on the west coast, he's making his third start back off a seven week break and should factor in his local debut.
4th pick: #6 (Browneyed Bachelor) (3-1) - Monmouth invader is another who was a classier type at one time. He rallied to finish second at this tag going 6-furlongs Sept. 11 in his first off a Steve DiMauro claim. Back in shape following a 13.5 month layoff and he should be finishing fast.
