2nd pick: #5 (Machu Picchu Sky) (5-2) - The probable favorite, he finished 2nd here Sept. 4th and was 3.5 lengths in front of 'Quality Time.' Speed/stalker was racing on the grass for the first time and is an obvious contender in this spot.
3rd pick: #1 (Beach View) (3-1) - Expensive ($180,000) son of 'Giant's Causeway' finished 3rd when debuting at this level in a dirt sprint Aug. 7th at Monmouth. Trainer Jay Servis (20% second time out) is having a career year, and this colt is bred to love the turf and the additional distance.
4th pick: #7 (Otherwise) (15-1) - Longshot is another stretching out in distance and racing on the grass for the first time. Well backed in his first pair, he's from a good barn (Keith Nations), and may be competitive at a big price.
