Top pick: #5 (SCENIC VIEW) (9-5) - Lightly-raced and well-bred filly has been sharp in all three appearances and comes into this off a second-place finish here at thius level on Aug. 19. Stalker cuts back a 1/6th and can take this with a repeat of the "figure" earned in her last outing.
2nd pick: #2 (Muggles) (3-1) - No-speed type drops back down after an even effort on July 30th when she finished a length back of "View." Filly has some ability and should be finishing fast against this sub-par field for the level.
3rd pick: #7 (Hollywood Redhead) (8-1) - Daughter of "Tapit" was in great form last winter, but has yet to reproduce it since coming off a 4 1/2 month layoff in late June. She ships in from Monmouth for her local debut off an even effort at Monmouth last out. Three-year-old runs off a positive trainer change to Bob Reid Jr.) and is a major player with her best.
4th pick: #1 (Redneck Bride) (9-2) - Pa.-bred ships back from Penn National where she raced both wide and evenly in a 5-furlong grass sprint. Filly has some speed, draws the rail, and the move from turf to dirt makes her a threat.
