Top pick: #4 (BELLA FIGLIA) (5-2) - The probable favorite, speed/stalker finished second here at this level on Sept. 1. He was involved in a pace-fight and held gamely for the place spot. Race was her first since March 31st and she should beat these with any improvement whatsoever.
2nd pick: #1 (Sidney Anne) (7-2) - Monmouth shipper is cutting back in distance after a pair of sharp efforts there at this tag going two-turns. She has the rail, is in shape, and jockey Angel Serpa is in for the ride.
3rd pick: #2 (Rate Change) (8-1) - Longshot is taking a big drop in class and cutting back in distance. She showed nothing last out in her first off a Scott Lake claim and is dropping well under the $16k purchase price. Can factor, but there are some red flags raised.
4th pick: #3 (Lodi Lion) (5-1) - She also showed nothing last out after being sent hard from an inside post going a mile. Well bred filly is racing third off a year's layoff and she's in an excellent barn (Mike Pino). Don't just ignore her.
