Top pick: #7 (FAT KAT) (3-1) - Filly chased a quick pace and weakened to finish a distant fourth when debuting here on a muddy surface Feb. 22. She was bet down to 6-5 favoritism that afternoon and may not have cared for the "off" going. In a winning barn (Bob Reid Jr.) and the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #6 (Megador) (2-1) - She exits the same last race as "Fat Kat" and finished in front of that rival after setting a quick and pressured pace. Her trainer (Mike Pino) is enjoying a very strong start here this year (11 for 35) and this daughter of El Corredor" is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Giant Lady) (10-1) - Longshot has a pair of fast works heading into this after showing nothing in her latest. Filly by "Red Giant" hinted at some ability two back and may gran a share at a big price.
4th pick: #1 (War Bells) (4-1) - Nicely bred filly chased and tired when debuting here in early Sept. and has been on the sidelines since. Working fine, she draws the rail and is a threat if ready off the half-year's absence.
