Top pick: #7 (OIL MAN) - Lightly-raced 5-year-old has plenty of back class, but following several layoffs he now races near the bottom. Last out he was probably best in a race at Penn National on June 1st. The high percentage barn of Todd Beattie (28% on the year) ships him in for this attempt and this stalker can win this with a "clean" trip.
2nd pick: #3 (Summiting) - Speedy gelding ran poorly last out racing against tougher on the grass in his first back off a two month break. Barn brings him back quickly, moves him back to the main-track, and drops him to a price that he likes. Contender at a big price.
3rd pick: #4 (Itineris) - Another who has some back class and last out he finished close-up third here when this 4-year-old by "Northern Afleet" was dropped down to this price for the first time. In an excellent barn (Chris Grove) and a win candidate.
