Top pick: #5 (BETAMERICA BABE) (5-2) - Unraced since her debut last Sept. at Belmont, filly is taking a huge drop in class in her return. Fla. bred chased and tired for a $75K tag on a muddy surface in her first start and has a pair of sharp local works on view. Blinkers on indicate this filly is ready.
2nd pick: #4 (Ovidienne) (3-1) - Well bred filly hasn't shown much in both starts facing much tougher. Freshened up since May 31, the big drop and the addition of Lasix should make her a major force in this weak field.
3rd pick: #8 (Allied Kid) (6-1) - Another that did little facing tougher in her debut June 2 at Delaware Park. In a dangerous barn, trainer Juan Vazquez drops her way down in class while adding blinkers.
4th pick: #1 (Pandancer) (4-1) - She's been competitive in two straight here at this level. One run type has the rail and is a threat down the stretch.
