2nd pick: #9 (Our Bernie) (5-2) - The probable favorite, he's won both starts at Delaware Park in wire-to-wire fashion. They came nine months apart and the figure earned there last out is the highest any of these has achieved recently. An obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #11 (Royal Flash) (7-2) - He's another with early speed so he needs to avoid an early tussle with 'Our Bernie' to be successful. Pa. bred enters off a career best figure June 20 and a repeat of that number makes him a threat.
4th pick: #6 (Avalanche Rock) (6-1) - Gelding is racing third off almost a seven month layoff and is dropping to a new low in class. Four-year-old has been in very poor form since coming off a three month layoff last October and the class drop should help.
