2nd pick: #6 (Bourbon Kitty) (2-1) - As mentioned above, she finished a length in front of "Defleet" last out and did so with a strong late rally. Consistent filly (11-2-3-2)was making her first local start that day and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Cypress Isle) (9-2) - Speedy filly has been freshened up since an impressive win here on Nov. 3 racing for a $16K tag to clear the 2l condition. Working well since and her speed makes her dangerous at a square price.
5th pick: #5 (Lasamanamama) (5-1) - She likes the local surface (7-1-2-2) and was a winner here racing for $10K on Dec. 4 to clear the 2l level. She has back class and runs first off a claim by "Lupe" Guerrero (a 25% winning angle).
