Three-year-old has sharp early speed and was competitive facing much tougher in 2014. The huge drop is a bit suspicious, but daughter of 'Wildcat Heir' can beat these if ready off a 3 1/2 month layoff.
2nd pick: #12 (Devil's Silent) (3-1) - The morning line favorite, she's another with early speed and that's dropping in class. New York bred finished a pace-setting second at Belmont Park for a $25K tag July 10. In a good barn (Rudy Rodriguez) and apprentice is in for the mount. A strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Back to Me) (15-1) - On the sidelines since July 10, filly tired while wide in a grass sprint at Monmouth racing for a $40K claiming price. Longshot is another taking a big drop and she's racing on the dirt for the first time. Dangerous if she handles the new surface.
4th pick: #4 (Tiz Zoo Girl) (6-1) - Penn National invader missed by a 'head' there at this level and distance Sep 16. This a much tougher group and she needs to improve her latest figure to have any shot at the top prize.
