2nd pick: #8 (Rosario's Spirit) (9-2) - Away since last November, gelding is working fine for his return. His new trainer (Phil Aristone) drops him way down in class while removing this 3yo's blinkers. A threat if ready.
3rd pick: #1 (Final Ritual) (4-1) - Lightly raced gelding has some early speed and is breaking from the rail. He has the rail and should be involved most of the way. 3yo needs to do better during the stretch run.
4th pick: #3 (Whirling Dervish) (12-1) - Longshot had some promise earlier in his career, but he's been in for layoffs several times. He ran poorly here at this level Aug. 5th and needs to turn it around this afternoon.
