2nd pick: #1 (Appealing Magic) (5-1) - Speedy sort broke running here at this level Nov. 3rd going 5.5 furlongs. She tired turning for home in what her first race since Aug. 11th. She's shortening up a 1/16th of a mile, breaks from the rail, and should be much fitter for this attempt.
3rd pick: #7 (Summer Break) (5-2) - She's racing third back from a two-month break, dropping in class, and cutting back in distance. Filly has never raced this cheaply and is a threat down the stretch.
4th pick: #3 (Raven Gypsy) (6-1) - Mare ships back from Penn National where she finished 2nd facing cheaper going six furlongs. Based on her best 'figures' and current form, a small slice at a square price is her ceiling.
