Top pick: #5 (TWO HAND JAM) - Very speedy gelding hasn't raced since New Year's Day of 2010 when she missed by a neck racing here for $25K. Claimed that day by trainer Dee Curry, this 5-year-old hasn't raced since but is working above average and is spotted to win at a greatly reduced price. Competitive sort can win this fun if ready.
2nd pick: #6 (Nordic Crossing) - Races second off a Steve Klesaris claim and runs today under the name of Juan Guerrero as Klesaris still owns the gelding, but is in Florida for the winter. Lightly raced 5-year-old ran evenly at this level in his first for the new barn and did so from a tough outside post. Guerrero wins at a incredible 56% rate with new arrivals to his barn and this runner is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Rock In Rock Out) - Hasn't raced since late July at Delaware but he has some early speed and draws the rail for his first start in 6 months. Needs to step it up a bit for any chance at the win, but the inside posts did well here on yesterday's card.
