Three-year-old chased while wide and held down the show spot there Nov. 30 going a mile for a $20K tag. It was his first since Oct. 13 when he was claimed for $20K by owner/trainer Dave Jacobson. Barn has him under the claimed price today and he should beat this group.
2nd pick: #3 (Ginner) (7-2) - He's finished second in two straight here at this level and distance. They came fresh off a 10 week break and he's a strong factor again in this weak field.
3rd pick: #1 (Hard Labor) (9-2) - Long time maiden has been competitive in four of his last six all at this $10K claiming price. Stalker has the rail and must be left in the small win mix.
4th pick: #7 (Congrats to Avie) (10-1) - Another career type maiden, he's capable of getting a minor award, but he's been handle rather easily by both 'Ginner' and 'Hard Labor' in the recent past.
