Top pick: #1 (Entry of 1-HI HO BAMBINO and 1a-NINETY FIVE SOUTH) (8-5) - He's part on entry from the annually high-percentage barn of Juan Vazquez and he has jockey Carol Cedeno named on both halves. This gelding rallied from close range to finish third here at this level and distamce March 31st. It was his first in 5-months and he should move forward off of it. Ninety Five South ships in from Penn National where he finished a pace-setting third March 18th at this level. It was his first in three months and he's the main speed if he doesn't scratch. I'll take either as my top choice.
2nd pick: #7 (Valley King) (4-1) - One-run type is racing third off a seven week freshening and second of a Phil Aristone claim. Veteran finished an even fourth racing for a $7500 tag April 6th in his first off the barn switch. Aristone brings him back quickly and drops him back down to the purchase price.
3rd pick: #4 (Bake Shop) (3-1) - He hasn't won since 2013, but old timer has gone 3-0-2-1 since dropping down to this $5000 claiming price. One-run type is in shape and would benefit greatly if a fast and/or contested pace were to develop.
