Top pick: #6 (FEAR MONGER) - Excellent debut saw him chase a fast pace here in the mud on May 16th and hold his ground to finish second. He's come back with a big bullet drill at his home-base of Bowie and looks all set for his maiden win.
2nd pick: #1 (Mr. Valentine) - Has the rail, some positional speed and finished third to "Monger" last out. He was competitive earlier this year facing open maidens at Gulfatream and should be in this at the end.
3rd pick: #3 (Valuable Gem) - Longshot showed nothing when debuting here in the mud on April 25th, but has a pair of very fast works showing that suggest he could impact at a big price.
4th pick: #5 (Cortado) - Freshened-up for the past two months by trainer Bruce Levine, he adds blinkers this afternoon (a 21% winning move) and this 3-year-old by Saarland is working nicely at Monmouth.
