Top pick: #8 (MADDISON'S PASSION) - Improving gelding finished second here at this tag and distance last out when trainer Randy allen dropped him down to race for $10K for the first time. Draws outside of the other pace and he can take this with only a minimal step forward.
2nd pick: #6 (Mr. Nice) - Colt put in a strong rally last out to finish third of eight, beaten a 1/2 length facing tougher at this trip March 18th. By far his best to this point and a repeat of it makes him a win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Cash Sale) - He's the main speed of this field and will be taking a big drop in price this afternoon. Son of "Broken Vow" has some of the best "figures" in this field and drops below the price he was claimed for on Jan. 30th.
4th pick: #1 (Observer) - Stretch-out sprinter showed some speed before weakening in a 7 furlong contest racing for $15K March 24th. Trainer Tom Miller brings him back quickly, drops him a bit, and sends him around two-turns. The rail draw is a plus.
