2nd pick: #8 (Desert Recon) (5-2) - Pa.-bred tired badly here facing tougher, going longer on the grass Sept. 15. Barn switches her back to the dirt, drops her to a new low, and shortens her up in distance.
3rd pick: #4 (Tyeste) (9-2) - Unreliable type rallied to finish third here at this tag on Sept. 22. Overall effort was her best since late July when she missed by a neck at this tag going 5.5 furlongs.
