Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (BARBARY COAST) (2-1) - Well bred colt just failed to hold on here Sept. 21st racing at this level going 6.5 furlongs. It was his best since coming off a 3 1/2 month layoff in late July, and he had to run hard every step. Trainer Scott Lake adds blinkers, and this $250K son of 'D'wildcat' is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #6 (Spirit in the Nite) (9-2) - Delaware shipper is going turf to dirt, dropping in class, and is facing fellow Pa. breds for the first time. Speed/stalker should be involved from start-to-finish.
3rd pick: #8 (Rosario's Spirit) (3-1) - Lightly raced gelding chased and weakened in the same last race as 'Barbary Coast.' A good effort, it was his first race in 10 1/2 months, and he should move forward off of it. Must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #5 (My Partner) (5-1) - He continues to race evenly and is dropping a bit in class. His trainer & jockey are both winless in 2015, so a small share would appear to be his ceiling.
